Age 86, of Banksville/Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at home early Sunday morning, June 28, 2026.
Janet was born on May 17, 1940, to the late Seth T. Schall Sr. and the late Edith Ida (Maurer) Schall. Janet grew up and resided in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Banksville. She dearly loved her family and spending time with them at home or at camp (Farma).
Janet is survived by her husband, Robert E. Miller, who was the love of her life for 65 years. She is also survived by her children, Keith Miller (Chris), Glenn Miller (Terri), and Kelly Davies (Bobby); her grandchildren, Matt Miller (Amber), Brad Miller (Bree), and Julie Miller (boyfriend, Jake); as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Blakelyn, Brooks, Benny, and Bash. She had a lovely upbringing with her siblings, the late Joanne Powell (Harris), the late Seth Schall, Jr. (Janet), the late Richard Schall, Sharon Myers (Paul), Joyce Bussey (Dick), and the late Deborah Schall. She also had many loving nephews and nieces. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Family and friends are welcome at 2630 West Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 2-4 and 6-8p.m., where a service will be held Thursday at 10:30a.m. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
