Adamstown, MD - Janice Clare (Bowers) George, 88, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother died at home in Adamstown, MD on April 6, 2026. She worked as a nurse anesthetist at Columbia Hospital and was a school nurse for Penn Hills School District. She was born in Michigan, raised in Pennsylvania and was a longtime Maryland resident. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Cemetery, 733 Patton St., Monroeville, PA 15146.
