Peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Jean M. Norris, age 82, formerly of West View. Beloved wife of the late Howard James "Jim" Norris; mother of the late Laurel Ann Norris and Carolyn E. Green; grandmother of Caitlin L. and Casey E. O'Brien and Daniel and Jasmin Green; mother-in-law of Adam (Cathy) Green of MA; dear friend of Linda DiCarlo and Tim and Sandy Faux; blessed with a larger network of many, life-long friends. Friends will be received on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon, at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Hwy., Pgh., PA 15237. Jean had been a lifelong member of Riverview United Presbyterian Church on the North Side and a long-time supporter of their food bank. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and Steelers fan. Because of her love for cats, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals www.aspca.org.
