GOGOLIN

JEROME "JERRY"

Age 78, of Gibsonia, died peacefully at home surrounded by family, on July 27, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 15, 1947, son of the late John Gogolin and Eleanor Ludwig Gogolin. Beloved husband for 29 years of Robin McKeon Gogolin. Father of Rachel Niyonzigira (Fidele) and Joseph McKeon (Bethany). Brother of Joseph Gogolin and the late Frank, John and Gary Gogolin. Dear grandfather of Hector, Caleb, Joshua, Ionna, Lucas, Amya, Michael and Matthew.

A U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran, Jerry was an electrical engineer (telephony) for many years, working for Bell Labs/Telephone, Westinghouse, Alcatel, and Western Electric, among several other companies. He also was a veteran's affairs officer for Rep. Melissa Hart, a deacon at West Deer Bible Church, and a member of the Bakerstown American Legion and Gibsonia VFW. In his spare time, Jerry promoted patriotism in the local school districts and participated in his senior softball league.

Interment with military honors will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:15 a.m., in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017. A following Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11 a.m., in West Deer Bible Church, 4341 Bakerstown Culmerville Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044. Pastor David Ryan officiating.
