It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of A. Joan Gornick, who left us peacefully, on June 6, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on May 30, 1940. She will be profoundly missed by many. Joan had a zest for life that was felt by everyone around her. A proud member of the Red Hat Society and her involvement in Greater Works Outreach Church and Walnut Grove Assembly Of God Church was a testament to her deep faith. For many years, Joan enjoyed being part of Butler's Ladies Golf League, where her love for golfing shone brightly. She was also an active participant in two AARP chapters. Joan enjoyed traveling whether it be around town or to other vacation destinations.
Joan was preceded in death by parents, Martin Gornick and Iva Maude (Bungard) Gornick. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Family and friends will be received Monday, June 9, at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
