Port St. Lucie, FL - Joan (age 72) and John (age 74), long-time residents of Port St. Lucie, Florida, tragically passed away together, at the end of May.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, John and Joan spent the first 50 years of their lives in the city they loved, before relocating to PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, 22 years ago.

Joan (Latwin) was a dedicated healthcare professional, beginning her career as a nurse in Pittsburgh. After raising their three children, she returned to work at Treasure Coast Hospice in Florida.

John was best known for his life-long passion for golf. He competed in numerous events in both Pennsylvania and Florida.

John and Joan are survived by their children: Andrew (Ashley) Latowski, Sarah Latowski and Joseph Latowski. Joan was the daughter of the late John and Stella Latwin. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom (Peggy) Latwin, Bobbie Latwin and Susan Latwin. She was the aunt of Thomas (Nicole) Latwin and the late Timothy Latwin. She was the great-aunt of Taylor, Ella, Trey, Benjamin and Alijah Latwin. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

John was the son of the late Anthony and Lucille Latowski. John is survived by his siblings, Susan (Tom) LaMantia, Judith Camarda, Tom Latowski and the late Michael Latowski. He was the uncle of Michael, James, Stephanie and Daniel.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Remembrance at St. Stanislaus Church, 57 21st Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7:15 a.m. Arrangements by the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Lawrenceville.
