JOAN LEIGH

Joan L. Weber, age 58, of Peters Township, was welcomed on October 13, 2025, by the the Dear Lord and all of her Heavenly Angels. Joan was born on June 13, 1967, in Pittsburgh, PA, St. Clair Hospital. She was the daughter of Carl R. Weber, Jr. and Nancy J. (Miller) Weber.

Joan graduated from Peters Township High School in 1985. Following Graduation, she continued her education at Robert Morris College and went on to obtain her Master's Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a licensed professional counselor and had her own practice for over 20 years, Joan L. Weber M.Ed Counseling Services in Mt. Lebanon. She helped hundreds of individuals and families with life struggles and emotional conflict. Even when not working, Joan spent her life reaching out to ensure others would obtain happiness and joy. She loved spending her time with nieces and nephew, traveling to new places, being outdoors, watching sports and loving her dogs.

Joan was dedicated to the care of her parents, Carl and Nancy, during their end of life. She was able to fulfill their final wishes of being at HOME. Her relentless efforts and tireless devotion and commitment allowed for a beautiful resting place for her mom and dad.

Joan's resonating personality and smile would make even strangers laugh and find comfort in her presence. She literally would brighten everyone's day.

Joan is survived by her sister, Jeanne L. (McDade) Hale; her nieces, Jessica (McDade) Kerr/husband Brett Kerr, Sarah McDade (Miner)/husband Josh Minor, Andrea McDade/husband Derek Mrocek; nephew, David McDade; and nine glorious great-nieces and nephews

A Private Visitation and CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be announced at a later date.

To those who wish to celebrate and remember Joan in their special way, adopting a pet, planting a tree in her honor or simply spreading kindness and joy to all would be a tremendous and appreciated gift!
