Joan Marie Buzinka (Koza) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on May 30, 2020. Daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Magiera) Koza. Beloved wife of the late Edward Buzinka; loving mother of Dawna (Thomas) Douglass and Sandy (the late Denny) Proud; cherished grandmother of Tara (Evan), Mandy, Tess, and Trish; great-grandma of Gannon and Calle. Survived by brother, Thomas Koza; sisters-in-law, Claudia Harter, Michelle McVay and brother-in-law, James Stahl, and many nieces and nephews! Preceded in death by brother, Edward Koza; sisters, Eleanor Korzun and Loretta Stahl. Joan was a member of the Munhall Volunteer Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary and long standing volunteer for St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish. Joan will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and caring nature. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2-8 p.m. at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120.
