JOANN "KATHY"

Age 71, passed away on July 12, 2026. Beloved wife of Daniel Benacquisto. Daughter of the late Peter and Joanna (Kulik) Wengryn. Loving mother of the late Michelle Shanholtz; and stepmother of Amanda Fitch. Loving sister of Stephen (Tammy) Wengryn, Nancy (Dave) Anzur, the late Gregory L. Wengryn; and sister-in-law, Amy J. Wengryn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joann worked most recently, for Sisters of Divine Providence, which she loved immensely while forming friendships with the Sisters. She was previously employed at Pittsburgh Public Schools, working with special needs students.

Friends will be received on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1-5 P.M., at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, 11 A.M., at Kearns Spirituality Center Visitation Chapel, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
