Bellevue, PA - Age 71, of Bellevue, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was the son of the late Anthony and Joyce Anne (Humes) Sciere; the beloved husband of Kimberly (Clark) Sciere; and the devoted father of John A. Sciere II (Hollie), Jessica Sciere (Brian) and the late Mary Ann Sciere. He was the eldest brother of Kathleen Levine (David), Julie Hudak (Ronald) and Stephen Sciere (Megan); and the proud grandfather of Payton, Anthony, Gabriel, Angelo, Charlotte and Denver.

Born in Meadville and raised in Erie, John began his career as "Johnny Hart," a local radio DJ, before founding his own advertising agency and later serving with the U.S. Postal Service in Pittsburgh.

A lifelong Yankees fan, music lover, and dedicated youth baseball and softball coach, John found his greatest joy in family. He especially cherished trips to Florida for Spring Training and Walt Disney World, where many of the family's favorite memories were made.

Family and friends will be received Monday, April 27, 2026, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202. Following visitation, a Blessing Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
