SCHELLING
JOHN A.
Formerly of Kennedy Twp., passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the oldest son of the late Albert and Maryanne Schelling. He is survived by his brothers, James, Albert and Gary Schelling; his sister, Marianne; niece, Sara (Erik) Herleman; great-niece and nephew, Thea Belle and Jameson; cousin, Noreen Muha; and his loving companion, Darlene Janus. He was predeceased by his aunt, Irene Muha; cousin, Eileen Muha; and brother-in-law, Jay Spishak. John was a Navy veteran, who then became a Kennedy Twp. Police officer.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME INC., 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks, (Kennedy Township), PA 15136. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., in the Musmanno Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Mark's Cemetery.
