At 95 years of age, John D. Priore (Dormont Jack), husband of the late Kathleen (Kelly) Priore, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Jack was the son of the late Hazel (Elford) and James C. Priore, Brother of deceased siblings, Elford (Pete), Marjorie Lieb and Patricia Lempicke. He is survived by his loving children, Deborah (Norbert) Lukus, Anthony (Susan), Donna Roell, Kelly (Karen), and Jack (Judy): grandchildren, Keri Paczkowski, Kim Lesikiewicz, Terrence Heubert, Cori Papuga, Michelle Roell, Brandon Priore, and Taylor and Jacquelyn Priore; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great granddaughters, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jack, a long-time resident of Dormont, loved to sing and play his keyboard, piano and guitar and was never shy in passing out the two CDs he made. At all family gatherings, he'd lead everyone in singing the Priore national anthem, Barefoot Days. After retiring from Allegheny County Maintenance Department, Jack spent his time relaxing on his front porch, walking along West Liberty Avenue into Mt. Lebanon or Beechview, patronizing the PA lottery, and chatting with his buddies at Dunkin Donuts and Eat 'n Park. His final days were spent at Asbury Heights. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 10 AM in St. Bernard Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made in Jack's name to the National MS Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
