John Diethorn, age 71, of McMurray, passed away on June 28, 2025.

John was born in Pittsburgh, on August 26, 1953, to the late Richard and Vera (Kleppick) Diethorn.

His family was his whole world. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with them, especially his beloved grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Vera (Kleppick) Diethorn; and his brother, Bob.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janet; his children, Matt (Kristin) Diethorn, Jocelyn (Ash) Munro, and Stephanie (Steve) Daer; his cherished grandchildren, Kylie, June, Brayden, Travis, Hallie, and Leah; and his siblings, Richard, Diane, Kathy, Tom, Bill, and Jim.

Arrangements by BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME. Friends and family welcome on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 3p.m.-7p.m., at Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-941-3211. A memorial service will be held on July 3, 2025, at 11a.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery immediately following the service.
