John J. Donovan III, "Jack", "JJ", of Gibsonia, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 3,2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on March 24, 1947 to Dr. John J. Donovan, Jr. and Marie Allen Donovan. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Shaffer Donovan, a son Jeffrey T. Donovan of Washington, NJ, a brother Thomas A. Donovan (Diane) of Allison Park and a granddaughter Rachel Marie Donovan of Washington, NJ. Also surviving are his daughter-in-law, BJ Donovan and ex-wife, Jane Roberts Gardner both of Washington, NJ along with sisters-in-law Gert Small of Bonita Springs, FL and Shirley Snyder of Volant, PA along with many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, John J. Donovan IV.

He will be missed by his work colleagues at Valley Tire Corporation in Charleroi, his many friends in the collector car world and the members of the Harley Owners Group of Pittsburgh, #2224.
