John F. Cummings, age 67, of Plum, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Son of the late John P. and Mary M. (McDonough) Cummings. Beloved husband for 44 years of Mary Ann (Arrigonie) Cummings. Loving father of Christopher (Shannon) Cummings, Kelly (Stephen) Bechtold and Ryan (Chelsea) Cummings. Devoted grandfather of Ava, Jackson, Mckenna, Maya, Logan and Valerie. Brother of Mary Pat (late Robert) Mueller, George (late Paula), Michael (Barb), Thomas and Timothy (Aliza). Nephew of John "Jack" (Marguerite "Koke") McDonough. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Our beloved Pap, a truly generous, kind, and loving man touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Pap was the heart of the family. A steady presence whose warmth, humor, and gentle spirit made every moment spent with him a treasure. Spending time with his family and friends brought him great joy. He looked forward to his fishing trips with his Uncle Jack, and annual hunting adventure to Arkansas. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and kindness will always remain in our hearts. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., on Sunday, at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd., Plum, PA 15239. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, at St. John the Baptist R. C. Church of Holy Family Parish, 444 Holy Family Way, Plum. Attendees, please gather at the church. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, the Cummings family suggest memorial contributions to the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny Health Network, P.O. Box 535604, Pittsburgh, PA 15253.
