John Lawrence Mattini, 86, of Frazer Township, passed away March 12, 2026, at home with his devoted wife of 38 years by his side. He was born December 30, 1939, son of the late Giovinni and Bruna C. (Sarti) Mattini. John graduated from Tarentum High School and then New Kensington Commercial School with a degree in television and radio repair. He retired as a manager from Sears & Roebuck after 36 years. John served in the US Army Reserves for 8 years as a Military Police Officer. He collected trains, constructed model ships, enjoyed fishing and was a jack of all trades. John was a lifetime member of Holy Martyrs Church and was a kind and gentle soul. John is survived by his loving wife, Joann (Stasik) Mattini and his many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:30-11:30 AM in DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 347 E 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM in Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Entombment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Twp.
