Age 92, of Castle Shannon, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Beloved husband of Susan D. (Sweeney). Dear father of Kevin (Lisa), Sean (Trish) and Tim (Cel) Curran. Loving grandfather of Meghan (Adam), Matthew, Neil (Steven), Fiona, John and Michael. Loving great-grandfather of Addison and Reagan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Marie (O'Rourke) Curran; and his brother, Neil. John was an Army Veteran and a longtime member of St. Winifred Church, where he was an usher for many years and a volunteer for the Food Bank. He retired from U.S. Steel as a metallurgist. John enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, playing cards and reading.
