JOSEPH PATRICK "PAT"

Age 86, of Wexford, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Pat was born on March 17, 1939, in Millvale, PA (Shaler Township), the son of the late Joseph Mihlfried and Agnes (Fenton) Mihlfried. He graduated from Shaler High School in 1957, where he was a football standout. After high school, he attended Delaware Valley University and Kansas State University, where he pursued his passion for animal husbandry and meat science. He also served in the United States Army. Pat is survived by his wife, Betty Lou (Foreman) Mihlfried, whom he married on August 18, 1990. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Judith (Tom) Pfeiffer of Freedom, PA; his daughter, Ruthann (David) Rebich of Ashburn, VA; his son, Michael Mihlfried of Alexandria, VA; and his two grandchildren, Elizabeth Rebich and Peter Rebich. Additionally, he is survived by Betty's daughters, Lori Zivic (Steve) Young, Shari Lou Anderson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
