JOSEPHINE E. "JOSIE" (LANGMANN)
Age 98, of Upper St. Clair, born and raised on a farm in Imperial, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Josie was the beloved wife of Harry Lee Carnes, who preceded her in 2003; loving mom of Lori Haviland and her husband, Bruce of South Fayette; doting grandma of Dillon Haviland and his wife, Amanda of Nashville, TN; great-grandma of Harrison Haviland; and dear sister of Dorothy Triscilia, and the late Robert Langmann, William Langmann, Clara Forner, and John Langmann. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by BEINHAUER-FRYER, 430 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, PA 15017, 412-221-3800, where friends and family are welcome Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., inurnment to follow in Melrose Cemetery. After the cemetery service, the family invites their guests to join them for a reception at Bee'z Bistro & Pub, which was a long-time favorite of Josie's.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Josie's name are suggested to the staff of The Grand Residence, who took impeccable care of Josie during the last three years of her life. Checks may be made out to the "Grand Residence-2025 Holiday Fund," please include in the memo line, "In Memory of Josie Carnes."
