Joyce Ann Damico, age 72, of Delmont, formerly of Turtle Creek, passed away peacefully, on July 23, 2026, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. She was born June 12, 1954, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Joyce) Mallik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terence W. Damico.

While her loss is a profound one that leaves a hole in the hearts of many, her family takes comfort in her remembrance any time they see an owl, a scratch off lottery ticket, or Pittsburgh sports team score. For many years, Joyce held various administrative and clerical positions for establishments that she held dear to her heart, most notably the Catholic primary school, where her son attended, Mother of Sorrows, where she was also a parishioner. Joyce took pride in her organized nature, her independence, and devotion to her family, specifically the lights of her life-her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her son, Terry (Virginia) Damico; her two grandchildren, Harper and Hudson; her sisters, Kathleen Depner and Martha Mallik; her brother, Thomas Mallik; several nieces and nephews; and her fur grandbaby, Winston.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville. Interment will then follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Monroeville.
