Of Gibsonia, PA, on March 24, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Henry Volkert and Emerald Neill Volkert. Devoted wife for 69 years of Harry J. Mikus. Loving mother of Lisa Ibinson (Thomas) and Lori Kremer (Dean). Proud grandmother of Henry Ibinson, Thomas Ibinson (Julia), Jack Ibinson, Emma Kremer, and Claire Kremer.
Joyce was raised on Mt. Troy where she graduated in 1950 from Millvale High School and was voted "Sweetheart of Millvale High". Always recognized by her trademark red hair, she was a longtime homemaker, and caring friend to many. She most loved being with her family and grandchildren, and she will forever remain our "Sweetheart".
