JUDITH ANN (JUDY) SCOTT Obituary
SCOTT
JUDITH ANN (JUDY)
Daughter of Joseph and Ruth Scott. Predeceased by her brother Tom Scott. Survived by her nephew, Thomas J. Scott.
Judy received a B.A. in social work from Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University) and an M.A., also in social work, from the University of Pittsburgh. She spent most of her career with Allegheny County's Children, Youth and Families and Holy Family Institute and found special gladness in the part of her work that involved reuniting adoptees with their birth parents.
Judy was an enthusiastic volunteer, a regular donor to the Pittsburgh blood bank and a lover of dogs. She was a reliable and generous friend and a faithful associate of the Sisters of Mercy.
A Memorial Mass for Judy will be celebrated on May 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Mother of Mercy Chapel of the Sisters of Mercy, 3333 Fifth Avenue on the campus of Carlow University. Arrangements made by H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME.
