JUDITH "JUDI" (KAECHELE)

Judith (Judi) Christerson, age 77, of Valencia, passed away at Passavant Hospital on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 12:15 p.m., while holding her dear friend Gail's hand.

Loving sister of the late Martha (late William) Harris, the late Richard Kaechele, and Karen Mance. Loving friend of 15 years, Robert Renfrew; loving cousin to Marleen Crockett, Meleen Ruggieri, Linda Kaechele, David Kaechele, and Douglas Kaechele.

Very proud aunt of the late Scott (Stacey) Harris, Timothy (Janet) Harris, Amy (the late David) Stanton, Andrew Kaechele, Adrian Kaechele, and Abby (Bill) Irwin; Deborah (Charles) Edwards, Tracie (Ric) Fisher, and Lori (Kenneth) Ross.

Judi was also extremely proud to be a great-aunt to Jack Harris, Madison (Kyle) Harris, Benjamin Harris, Spencer Harris, Jonathan (Kari) Fisher, Jordan Fisher, Britney Polaski, Jimmy Kaechele, Dalton Kaechele, Billy Irwin, and the late Stephan Kaechele.

Judi went to nursing school at St. Margaret's and Anesthesia School at Mercy, graduating in 1976. She would always say she "passed gas for a living."

Judi was a kind, caring, loving, crazy, goofy character of a sweet friend. She was filled with such faith and loved Jesus every day of her life.

Jud loved taking rides with Bob to Lake Erie and on any back road he could find. She loved looking at Christmas lights; she loved her Christmas lights; she loved her birds and beautiful flowers. She had a green thumb like no one else. She loved baking chocolate chip cookies for Bob and her friends or chicken casserole for her family. She loved all the flickering lights in her home. She always put off cleaning because "tomorrow is another day, oh well!" she would always say.

Her family and friends were her life. She had so many loving and loyal friends, including too many to name. She loved each and every one.

She had friends from her nursing days that she kept in touch with, and they with her; friends from Pilates, friends from Weight Watchers, friends from her Cobblestone Village, and friends that she truly loved and they loved her.

Remember Judi for her friendship, her smile, and the "Whews" she did while wearing her "famous sunglasses." Anyone who knew her knew she didn't leave her house without them!

Anyone who has ever spent even a minute with her will miss her terribly.

Rest in peace, our dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. You were a bright light in our lives. Job well done, Jud!

There will be no viewing. A memorial luncheon for family and friends will be January 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00, at Cobblestone Village Clubhouse, 1000 Cobblestone Lane, Valencia, PA 16059. Bring your funny Judi stories.
