DAY

JUDY

Judith Ann Day, age 70, of McCandless, passed away peacefully, at home, on March 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 18, 1955, in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late George and Belinda Baskwell Pope.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Kevin; her daughter, Janet of McCandless; and her son, Mark (Anna Benko) of Cranberry Twp.

She spent more than 35 years with PNC Bank, before retiring in 2014, building lasting friendships and memories.

Judy found joy in the simple, comforting rhythms of life. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, who were never far from her side. She enjoyed word-find puzzles, needlepoint, latch hook, and reading murder-mystery novels — quiet hobbies that matched her gentle, thoughtful nature. Her favorite vacation spot was Dewey Beach, Delaware, where she cherished long, peaceful days by the ocean and especially loved that she could bring her dogs along to enjoy the sand and surf.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her patience, and the deep love she held for those closest to her.

There will be no services at the family's request

The family encourages making donations to Animal Friends in Judy's memory. Arrangements made by H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME.
