Fox Chapel - Age 69, of Fox Chapel, PA, passed away on January 23, 2026. He was born in Pittsburgh on July 9, 1956, to Salvatore and Susan Costanzo.

Julian is survived by his wife, Patti Shar Costanzo; his daughters and son-in-law, Cara and Katie Costanzo and Cole Seymour; his brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Barbara Costanzo; his in-laws, Phil and Diane Shar and Les and Barb Shar; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Julian was a graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. He was a contractor in the Pittsburgh area for nearly 50 years.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Blawnox, PA.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church. Please meet at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Julian will be remembered for his deep love and commitment to his family, friends, and the city of Pittsburgh.
