Age 79, of Carnegie, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Daughter of the late Daniel J. Jr. and Marcella C. (Herman) McGrogan. Sister of Gwen (Bill) Popovich, Dan (Jo Ann) McGrogan, Frank (Connie) McGrogan, Tom (Debby) McGrogan, Kevin (Pam) McGrogan, Jerry (Denise) McGrogan, Marcie (Gordy) McGrady, Rich (Sandra) McGrogan, Bob McGrogan and the late Nancy (living Ken) Zatezalo. Loving aunt to 17 nieces and nephews and their families. Kathie attended St. Luke Grade School and graduated from Canevin High School, and was a long time employee of BNY Mellon. Family and friends are being received on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6-8 p.m., at the LEO J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 323 Second Avenue, Carnegie. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 330 Third Avenue, Carnegie, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Historical Society of Carnegie at P.O.
