LAUDANO

KATHLEEN A. (MEALEY)

Of Upper Saint Clair, born April 8, 1942, passed away peacefully, on August 4, 2026, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved, loving husband, Edmund S. Laudano; her parents, William J. and Kathleen Mealey; and her sister, Maureen Tschopp.

Kathy was the devoted mother of Edmund Jr. and David (Allison) Laudano; and proud Nonna of Luke Laudano. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Jane Yost and Robert J. Mealey; as well as many nephews and friends. For many years, Kathy was the coordinator of outings for Freewheelers, which provided recreational field trips for disabled community members. For over 30 years, she served on The Ladies of Charity Diocesan Board, where she was a resource for all LOC members, as well as a liaison between LOC and Catholic Charities. Kathy also served for a time as CCD Director for Primary Religious Education at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, where she was a life-long member. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Friends and family received on Sunday, August 9, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017, (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 10, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Louise de Marillac Church of Saint Catherine Laboure Parish, 320 McMurray Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Rd., Canonsburg, PA 15317.
