KATHLEEN M.
Age 65, of West Mifflin, passed away on August 11, 2026.
A proud graduate of West Mifflin High School, Kathleen pursued further education with marketing classes before launching her career in retail in the shoe department at Kaufman's. However, it was in her role as a homemaker that she truly thrived, creating a loving and nurturing home for her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and a proud, loving grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, William Mitro; children, Robert W. (Jenna) Mitro and Melissa M. (Serg) Mitro; grandchildren, Jimmell, Stuffy, Iyla and Callan; all of her siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Proud.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236.
