KATHLEEN MARIE

Kathleen Marie Matthews, age 74, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Marie Kantner Matthews of Spring Hill. Sister of Patricia Radford (husband Donovan) of Crafton and the late Nancy Matthews. Aunt of Erin Radford Melia; and great-aunt of her children, Corey Melia and Donovan Reddick. Also survived by many family members, including special cousin, Janice Matthews Evans and her family. Kathy dedicated many years of service as a nurse and medical record coder at West Penn and Allegheny General Hospitals. Kathy was very proficient in all things sewing and needlework. In retirement, she made countless blankets for Project Linus, traveled extensively and enjoyed many games of mahjong with her friends. The family wishes to thank the Ross Township EMT's, Mercy Hospital, and Canterbury Place for their exceptional care and compassion. At Kathy's request, there will be no viewing and burial will be private. The LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., of Bellevue, is handling arrangements. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Project Linus or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. She will be missed.
