KENNETH PAUL

Ross Township - On April 8, 2025, Kenneth "Ken" P. Froehlich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 surrounded by his family.

Loving husband of 67 years to Nancy (Bodine), father of Kenneth (Jill) Froehlich, Janet (Mark) Carioto, Karen (late Phillip) Quinque, Daniel (Shannon) Froehlich. Devoted Pap to Craig, Kristie, Kelly, Kyle (Jessica), Aaron, Annalise, Caitlin, and Caring Pappy (Great-Grandfather) to Layla, Logan, and Coen. Brother to Lucille Roos, Sister Marilyn Froehlich, Lawrence Froehlich and the late Lois Leahy, Joseph Froehlich, Jr., William Froehlich, Bernice Bolsinger, and Dolores Schmidt.

He was born on January 29, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Josephine Froehlich. Ken was a US Army Veteran of the 285th Artillery Battalion. Ken was a long-time employee at Pitt Ohio Express (Hammel's Express). Following retirement, Ken became an active volunteer at St. Cyril of Alexandria (Christ Our Savior) Parish, Spark of Hope, and St. Vincent de Paul. Ken was an avid gardener, handy man, artist, and Pittsburgh sports fan. He greatly enjoyed spending time outside working on his lawn and pond, creating at his work bench, and spending time with his family.

Family and friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3552 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, 3854 Brighton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
