Age 78, of West View, on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh to the late Aaron and Sally Belle (Houck) Chappel.
Beloved husband for 25 years of late Sandra Lee Chappel; loving father of Brian K. Chappel and Kimberly B. Hanlon (Patrick); father figure to Larkin Marro and Taylor Misplay (Sara); brother of Joann "Betty" Obies, William "Billy" Chappel (Beverly), Debbie Cunningham (Terry) and the late Richard A. Chappel (surviving, Nancy); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ken was an avid runner and ran numerous marathons and races. He loved TV, Jeopardy and Westerns, and also enjoyed Doo Wop and Oldies music. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Postal Service after 30 years.
Family will welcome friends on Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, PA 15229, where a Service will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m.
