East Prospect - Age 53, of East Prospect, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, and Massachusetts, unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Mother of the late Coury Ryan Brown; devoted daughter of Bonnie Matthews-Brown and the late David Linus Brown; sister of Dawn Brown-Porter of Florence South Carolina, David Fancis Brown and Racheal Brown both of Massachusetts; aunt of Corey Porter, Matthew Porter, Kacie Brown, Avory Gagnon, Alyjah Gagnon, David Brown, Jr., Anthony Daigle, Jr. and Kiai Hadaway.

Krista worked for Dick's Sporting Good for over 4 years in the Fraud Department and loved her job. She had also been employed at Comcast for many years. Krista was a pivotal member of her family and was the glue that kept her family together. Krista was a proud Steelers fan and really loved the city of Pittsburgh. Her love of music influenced her whole family and was the heartbeat of Krista's life. Her passion for it shaped her home, her relationships, and especially the lives of her nieces and nephews, who will forever be grateful for the songs, artists, and memories she shared with them. To her family, Krista was the glue that held everyone together, the one who showed up, who listened, who made sure no one ever felt alone. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of unity that will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may gather at LAUGHLIN CREMATION AND FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Pittsburgh (Mt. Lebanon), PA on Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2026, from 2:00 until the Memorial Service at 4:00 o'clock.
