KRISTEN A. "KRISSY"

Kristen Anna Otten ("Krissy") of Monroeville, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2026, surrounded by family, after a five-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Krissy graduated Slippery Rock University in 1991 with a degree in environmental biology. She worked 27 years with the United States Postal Service first as a mail person, then clerk. She loved music and had a very eclectic music taste. She loved to read and made amazing wreaths for friends and family. Krissy was a bright light in many lives.

She survived by her husband, James Stitt; Parents, Kathleen (Kathy) and George Otten; Brother Jeff Otten (Jennifer); Daughter, Daisy Hufnagel; Son, Shane Hufnagel; Step-son, Jimmy Stitt (Kelsey); Step-daughter, Brianna Stitt; niece/nephew Junah and Jessie Cox; and several aunts and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 10:30 to 11:30 am, at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100) where a memorial service will take place at 11:30 am.
