LAURA A.

Age 42, of McMurray, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

She was born January 17, 1983, in Pittsburgh, beloved daughter of Dr. David H. Schwimer and Janet Mathews.

Laura is survived by a son, Braxton A. Molinaro; a brother, Douglas Schwimer; a grandfather, Dr. Sidney Schwimer; aunts and uncles, Dr. Charles Schwimer, Mark J. Schwimer, Susan E. (William) Andrews, Raymond M. (Suzanne) Mathews, Roberta (Gregory) Sharko, and Gerard T. (Rebecca) Mathews; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Charlotte (Weil) Schwimer; and her maternal grandparents, Francis W. Mathews and Patricia E. Mathews.

Laura loved to write and read poetry and enjoyed the companionship of animals. She found peace in nature and the outdoors walking on the path that winds through trees around Peters Lake Park. She was also an accomplished equestrian and won numerous awards and ribbons on her horse, Doc.

She had a heart of gold who enjoyed helping others and was deeply loved by everybody. She was a gentle soul who is gone too soon.

A Gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME in McMurray at a date and time to be announced.
