LAWRENCE WILLIAM
Age 88, of Gibsonia, Richland Township, PA, died on December 27, 2025, at his home in the Villages of St. Barnabas. He was born on December 12, 1937, in Ambridge, PA, to the late Sabatini and Cecili (Palini) Nobili. He has lived at St. Barnabas Village for the past four years and prior at The Links of Deer Run, West Deer Township, for 15 years and in Cheswick for over 36 years.
Lawrence was a 1955 graduate of Ambridge High School and a 1961 graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology (Carnegie Mellon) in Pittsburgh. He then worked as an electrical engineer for Monongahela Power Co., Fairmont, WV; Koppers Co., Pittsburgh, PA Engineering Corp., Pittsburgh; Tippins Inc., Pittsburgh; Mesta International, Pittsburgh; and Centerline Engineering Corp., Wexford, until he retired in 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish in Bairdford.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and thoroughly cherished the time with his grandchildren. Lawrence was married to the one and only love of his life, Rosemary (Pollock) Bufalini, for 59 years, who preceded him in death in 2021.
Survivors include his daughter, Laura (Ralph) Harris of Tyrone, PA; son, David (Linda) Bufalini of Altoona, PA; granddaughter, Molly Harris of Lewisburg, PA; grandson, John (Chelsea) Bufalini of Palmyra, PA; great-grandson, Grayson Bufalini; sister-in-law, Dolores Miller (William) of Aliquippa, PA; brother-in-law, James Pollock of Cheswick; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Also preceded in death by stepfather, Ubaldo Bufalini; sister-in-law, Sarah McCluan; and grandparents, Rocco and Elena Paliani.
Friends received Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor Church. Following, he will be laid to rest next to his wife in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
