Age 79, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Ricciuti) Seibel; loving father of Lenette Rocco (August Jr.), Nicole Flythe (Anthony) and Dr. Jolene Seibel-Seamon (Mark); devoted Nonny of Isabella Seamon, Livia Rocco and Alexander Seamon. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Sr. and Ella Seibel. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Noone (the late Jim), Susan Maceyko (Richard), Janice Kabetso (Donny) and Phyllis Sunkin (Chris). He is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Leonard, a veteran of the Vietnam War, was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with "V" Device for Valor for his heroic actions during "Operation Junction City." During an early morning attack on his base camp, Sergeant Seibel ran to his position and began returning fire. He left the relative safety of his post to help carry the wounded to an evacuation point, although it meant crossing open territory under the heavy barrage of enemy fire. His actions were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.

Leonard was a retired Master Plumber. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife, Marie, especially at their home in Florida. Leonard was a devoted family man and adored his grandchildren. His favorite hobbies included fishing, gardening, and cooking.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m., on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, PA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday January 22, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Maurice Church, 2001 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA.
