LINDA L.
Age 70, of Dormont, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh, to the late Amellio and Marion Amoroso. For 42 years, Linda was the beloved wife to David McElrath. Dear mother of Anthony McElrath. Cherished nana to Selina and Lillian. Loving sister to Paul (Ann) Amoroso. Godmother to Nicholas Amoroso.
Linda loved spending time with her pet rabbit, Starsky. She was an avid animal enthusiast; in her free time, she would volunteer at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh to be with the rabbits. She also belonged to the rabbit wranglers of Pittsburgh. Linda adored and loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, May 4, 2026, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, PA 15220, 412-563-2800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Simon and Jude Church of St. Raphael The Archangel Parish, 1607 Greentree Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Entombment will follow in Chartiers Cemetery, 801 Noblestown Rd., Carnegie, PA 15106.
