LOIS J. (SCHULMIRE)
Lois J. (Schulmire) Long, age 96, of Ross Township, on Monday, August 18, 2025. Beloved wife for 32 years of the late Thomas G. Long.
Loving mother of David Corson (Diana), Brian Corson, and Cathy Corson Mann; step-mother of Thomas Long (Karen); grandmother of Courtney Corson, Jeremy Corson, Danielle Corson, Stephanie McKay (Matthew), Justin Mann (Anna), Joshua Mann, Taylor Long, and the late David Lee Corson (surviving Megan), great-grandmother of Nikki Nuttle, Gracie Corson, Austin Corson, Keaton Corson, Logan McKay, and Brianna McKay.
Lois worked at NHSD until she retired. She was the organist at Bellevue Christian Church many years ago, volunteered at Suburban General Auxillary, and was a member of West View Methodist Church. Music was a huge part of her life, and she taught piano to numerous kids. Lois enjoyed doing word searches and the many activities at The Haven including Bingo.
Family will welcome friends on Sunday, August 24, 2025, and Monday, August 25, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, PA 15229, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
