Age 89, formerly of Moon Township, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Beloved wife of 46 years to the late John W. Thuer. Dearest mother of Anna Marie "Amy" Thuer, Heidi (Robert) Boehlefeld, John J. (Donna) Thuer, and Eric (Kelly) Thuer. Loving grandmother of Eric and Hayden Boehlefeld, Toby, Molly, and Caroline Thuer, and Jillian and Ethan Hach. Preceded in death by her siblings, Laura Volovic, Edmund Cwynar, and Chelsea Liput, Loretta was born on March 8, 1935, to Stanley A. and Anna M. (Wojtan) Cwynar of Wilmerding, PA. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Township. Loretta enjoyed painting, sewing, reading murder mysteries, and loved sharing the fruits of her kitchen with family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, St. Margaret Mary Church, 1 Parish Place, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
