Age 85, originally from West Homestead, passed away peacefully, on July 1, 2025, at Paramount Senior Living, Peters Township. Daughter of the late Leon and Helen (Ladik) Christ of West Homestead. Loretta was many things - loving sister, aunt and "grandma." Loretta worked for 44 years for U.S. Steel at the Mon Valley Plant and a majority at the headquarters in Pittsburgh in various clerical positions.



Loretta was a devoted Steeler and Pirate fan for her entire life. She was a faithful member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church (St. Benedict the Abbot).



She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona (John) Koletar and Gladys (Stephen) Borsch. Loretta is survived by nieces, Susan Koletar, Kim (Craig) Dorsey, Stephanie Borsch and Lisa (Jim) House; and nephew, Leon (Debbie) Crist. Loretta was considered family to Dave (Annette) Pasquini and their two children, Andrew and Hannah.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Interment will be private and is being handled by JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15326.
