LORRAINE SCHWARTZMIER
Passed away in her home on January 14, 2026, at the age of 104. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Stokes, Sr., who passed in 1993. She is survived by her son, Robert Stokes, Jr., who worked tirelessly over the last few years to ensure Lorraine was able to maintain her lifestyle and live life on her terms. Additional survivors include her granddaughters, Emily (Justin) Calderone and Elizabeth (Tom) Andrzejczak; and great-grandchildren, Luke Jolibois, Sam Calderone, Josephine Lorraine Calderone, and Johannah Andrzejczak.
Lorraine was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and proclaimed Jesus as her Lord. She enjoyed talking about her faith and ministering to her family.
In her younger years, Lorraine was an employee of the Baldwin Whitehall School District where she worked with disabled children as a school bus matron. For fun, Lorraine was an avid traveler, and she enjoyed shopping, bowling, and playing the organ. The quality most people who knew her in her later years will remember was her ability to tell a story. She had a story for every occasion and was always happy to engage with others.
Friends and family will be received at the PAUL HENNEY CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bethel Park on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Everyone, please meet at church. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory can be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 5303 Madison Ave., Bethel Park, PA 15102.
