LOUISE A.

Age 94, of Shadyside/Bellevue, PA, passed peacefully with her children by her side, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Louise was a bright shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Everyone lovingly called her "Weezie." She was easy to relate to because she wasn't afraid to be human and she allowed you the space to be human too. Louise was an avid reader and wrote two books. She loved to do the hardest crossword puzzles and watch NCIS for hours on end because she had a crush on Mark Harmon. She loved the beach and listening to music, especially The Eagles. Her journey on this earth was one marked by a great sense of humor, love, compassion and an unwavering faith in God.

Louise was the beloved daughter of the late John Patrick Horan and Ellen (Foody) Horan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Clagett Jr.; and her brother John (Jack) Horan. Louise is survived by her sister, Mary Larkin; and many nieces, nephews; and her beloved friends, Tommy Fitzpatrick, Dave Fielding and Linda Hagan. Louise was a loving and devoted mother to six children. Her eldest son, Michael, preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by her son, Sean Clagett and his wife, Barbie; her daughter, Ellen Burton and her husband, John; her daughter, Eileen Gavin and her husband, John; her son, David Clagett and his wife, Sara; and her daughter, Cathleen Clagett. She was a doting Grandma/Nana to Jordan Clagett, Ryan Clagett and his wife, Khristee, Jake Clagett and his wife, Katie, Johnny, Griffin, and Abbie Clagett, Sean Gavin and his wife, Aly, Laurel Kaufman and her husband, Joshua and Leila Burton. She was an adoring great-grandma to Taylor, Luke and Cole Gavin, Lenalee, Cillian and Kieran Clagett, Chloe, Matthew Clagett.

Friends and family will be received at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2-8 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 310 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206, on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10 A.M. Our family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff at AHN Hospital in Wexford for their love, kindness, and compassionate care they gave to our mother Louise and all of us.
