LOUISE V.
Age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. Daughter of the late Michael and Louise Vinoverski. Beloved mother of Mark (Maggie) Vuono, Marty (Kathy) Vuono, Carl Vuono (Jamie Nettrour), Karen (Bob) Vaughn and Louise R. Vuono (Michael Serafini). Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lorraine Thomas, Dolly O'Toole, and Jean Quattrone. Also preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Kruszka. Louise was the owner of Creative Windows and Interiors, a design business that she founded. She was a longtime member of St. Bernard Church where she was affectionately known as the "Apple Pie Lady" because she started the St. Bernard Apple Pie Fundraiser in her basement. Louise was also a Chairman of the Medallion Ball and past president of St. Lucy's Guild for the Blind. She loved to host Sunday family dinners and spend time with her grandchildren, particularly cooking in her kitchen. Family and friends are welcome, Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220, (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Friday, February 27, 2026, in St. Bernard Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 311 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh 15216. The final resting place will be Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
