LYNNE (LOSEE)

Age 77, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully, on August 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on October 27, 1948. Daughter of the late Boyd and Marilyn Losee. Lynne grew up in Brockport, NY, before moving to the Pittsburgh area in 1972. She was the beloved wife for 55 years of Sid McAllister; loving mother of Scott (Christine) McAllister and Timothy (Angela) McAllister; devoted grandmother of Sophia Anais McAllister, Melina McAllister, Nikos McAllister, Arianna McAllister and Conner (Shelby) Goldsberry; cherished great-grandmother of Abbigail and Jackson; and sister of Wendy (Nick) Kuzy. Lynne was a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, where she earned her Bachelor of Education Degree, and worked as an elementary school teacher. A devoted and very active member of her church, Lynne was a member of the Ladies of Charity, bereavement ministry, and numerous bible studies. Friends received Friday, August 7, from 3-7 p.m., at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 8, at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas More Church of Resurrection Parish, with the Most Reverend Bishop Mark A. Eckman as celebrant.
