MARGARET ELAINE

Elaine Wilson, age 97, of Ross Township, PA, went quietly into the hands of the Lord on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by loving family.

Elaine was born in 1928, with a twin sister in Baltimore, MD, where she met the love of her life, Edward Wilson, Sr., at a dance at the YWCA. Their 64 years of married life together live on through their children, Arlene (Steve) O'Brien, Nancy Wise, and Eddie (Pam McNally) Wilson Jr.; and grandchildren, Caroline and Christopher Wise. She will be sorely missed by all, including numerous nieces, nephews, and close extended family, as well as close friends and church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wilson, Sr.; brothers, Harry and Webster; sister, Marty; twin sister, Ruth; and son-in-law, Peter Wise.

She worked at a bakery and then with her twin sister at the C and P Telephone Company. In later years she helped her husband, Edward, with his creation of Free Complete Magazine Service. After their children were born, she was a homemaker and loved taking care of her beloved grandchildren and other children who thought of her as Grandma Wilson. She provided a loving home to all, and there was always an extra place set at the dinner table for friends. She cherished spending quality time with her family, including living with and being spoiled by her granddaughter, and looked forward to weekly phone calls from her grandson. She especially enjoyed family dinners, holiday gatherings, watching game shows with Arlene, Hallmark movies with Nancy, and wrestling with Eddie.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Highway, Pgh., PA 15237, 412-364-4444. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, PA.
