MARGARET (JAKUB)

On Monday, May 26, 2025, Margaret (Jakub) Zierenberg, a long-time resident of Ohio Township, passed away peacefully, in her home. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents, Andrew and Margaret Jakub; and two brothers, Reverend George Jakub, OFM and Robert Jakub, late husband of Beverly (Rackarich) Jakub.

Margie was a devoted mother of three daughters, Linda Moule, Patty Weisner and Barbara Pitell; along with four grandchildren, Katherine Moule, William Weisner, Cameron Moule and Elizabeth Weisner. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Her kindness, selflessness, compassion and devout faith were a blessing to her family and friends and will be sorely missed.

Visitations will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1600 Stone Mansion Dr., Franklin Park, PA 15143. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church, 444 Glenfield Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. A brief prayer Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., at Schellhaas Funeral Home, followed by a procession to the church for the 10:30 a.m. Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in honor of Margaret to St. Mary Church - Divine Redeemer Parish, 200 Walnut St., Sewickley, PA 15143.
