Margaret L. Stephenson, age 95, of Gibsonia, formerly Middlesex Township, died peacefully on Christmas morning, December 25, 2025.
Born in the Swissvale neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA, on August 23, 1930, daughter of the late Carl Peter and Elizabeth Jones Metzgar. Beloved wife of the late Clarence W. Stephenson. Loving mother of Debra Stawecki (Jim), Brian Stephenson (Christine), and the late Timothy Stephenson. Sister of Eleanor Ritrovato and the late Carl Metzgar, Jack Metzgar, Betty Grimes, and Joann States. Dear grandmother of Eric, Chris, Mark, Zachary, and Frank. Also survived by four great-grandchildren, Arlo, Finn, Lennon, and Reed.
Friends received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ginger Thomas officiating. Interment will be held in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park.
