MARGARET "PEG"
Margaret "Peg" Elsner, age 91, of Pittsburgh, PA, died peacefully on April 15, 2025, at Vincentian Home in McCandless Township.
Peg grew up and lived in her beloved New Jersey until age 70, when she moved to Pittsburgh to be near family. She was a medical transcriptionist for almost thirty years, before retiring. Peg loved having fun, bowling, reading, baseball, going to her kid's and grandkid's games and was a gifted artist.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Buckman (Mike), Jim Elsner (Sue); six grandchildren, Bill, Brad, Amy, Jimmy, Rachel and David; as well as eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Jim Bottomley; and niece and nephew, Scott and Jill Bottomley.
Friends received Friday, April 25, 2025, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME INC., 7720 Perry Highway, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Vincentian Home Personal Care where she lived, thrived, and was well cared for during the past several years.
