MARGARET "PEGGY"

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and nurse, Margaret "Peggy" Billand.

Peggy was a devoted wife for 54 years, sharing a beautiful life of love and partnership with her husband, Bob. Their marriage was a true example of commitment, friendship, and unwavering support.

She dedicated her career to nursing, where her compassion and gentle spirit brought comfort to countless patients and families. Caring for others was not just her profession—it was who she was.

Above all, Peggy was a proud and loving mother to Sherry (Chris) Hupchick and Jen (Jim) Hill. She was the proud grammy to her three cherished grandchildren, Riley, Madison, and Tymber, who were the light of her life. She treasured every moment with her family and celebrated their accomplishments with joy.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephew, and all who were blessed to know her. Her love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A blessing service will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the funeral home's chapel.
