MARGARET S.
Age 95, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Dear daughter of the late Anthony and Edith (Sylvester) D'Andrea. Margie leaves behind her beloved cousin, Irma Lauble; and many other loving cousins. Margie graduated from the Margaret Morrison College at the Carnegie Institute of Technology (Carnegie Mellon) in 1948 and enjoyed a career as a Chemist at Koppers Industries. Margie loved to travel to Europe and South America, entertaining her family with slide shows upon her return. She spent an extended period of her adulthood caring for her ailing mother, "Lulu." Margie was always positive and kindhearted and was quick to send off beautifully written "thank you" notes for even the smallest of gestures. She will be missed by friends and her cousins who particularly enjoyed her presence around the holidays. Family and friends are welcome, 10 A.M., until time of Blessing Service at 10:45 A.M., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., PA 15220, (412-563-2800).
